ADULT FORMATION
Adult Education Hour
Classes begin on Sunday mornings at 9:15 in the Browne Room
in Weber Hall (education building) or in Wagner Hall (parish hall). Adult Forum provides a relaxed atmosphere where
participants can sip a cup of coffee while they learn, grow and share
their faith experiences. In the fall of 2011 we will offer an exciting new curiculum, Feasting on the Word, which will explore the readings for each Sunday from the Revised Common Lectionary.
The "BookNookers", a monthly book study and discussion
held at The Southerlands retirement community offered the third Wednesday of the month at 3:30 p.m. You don't need to live at the Southerlands to join Booknookers.
Come join us for a glass of sherry and a good discussion. Bring a book that you've enjoyed to share with the group. For more information please contact the parish office.
Education for Ministry (EfM)
EfM is a worldwide program developed by the School of
Theology at the University of the South (Sewanee). It holds that
the foundation for bringing Christ to the world lies in a church
empowered by an active, theologically articulate laity. EfM is a
four year program. Students enroll one year at a time and can
transfer almost anywhere in the USA and in many foreign countries.
For more information on EfM at Calvary please contact the
parish office.
